API Key Privacy & Security

Last updated: 10/10/2026

FetchrLy allows you to optionally configure your own custom API keys for Google Gemini, Groq, and NVIDIA. We believe your developer credentials should remain private, secure, and entirely under your control. Here is exactly how we handle and protect your API keys.

1. Zero Plaintext Logging & No Harvesting

We never log, harvest, or expose your raw API keys in plaintext anywhere in our logs, analytics, or monitoring systems. FetchrLy will never share, sell, or monetize your credentials with any third parties or advertisers.

2. Industry-Standard AES-256 Encryption at Rest

When you save custom API keys in your profile, they are immediately encrypted using authenticated symmetric cryptography (Fernet AES-256) before ever being written to the database. Only our isolated backend application runtime holding the server encryption key can decrypt the credentials during an authorized generation request.

3. Direct Provider Dispatch over TLS

Your API keys are decrypted in temporary memory strictly at the time of your request and transmitted directly to the official model provider endpoints (Google Generative AI, Groq Cloud, or NVIDIA NIM) over secure, TLS-encrypted connections. We do not proxy your keys through third-party relays or untrusted intermediary networks.

4. No AI Training on Your Data or Keys

Neither your API keys nor your candidate resumes and prompts are ever used to train, tune, or improve foundational machine learning models. Furthermore, enterprise developer API terms from Google, Groq, and NVIDIA guarantee that inputs sent via their APIs are not used for model training.

5. Immediate Deletion & Complete User Control

You retain full ownership of your credentials at all times. You can remove or replace your custom keys whenever you like from your Profile Settings. When you clear a key, the encrypted record is permanently erased from our database immediately. Additionally, you can revoke or rotate your keys at any time directly through your Google Cloud, Groq Console, or NVIDIA build portal.

6. Security Inquiries & Vulnerability Reporting

If you have questions regarding our API credential protection or have discovered a potential security vulnerability, please contact our security team at fetchrly@gmail.com. We take all inquiries seriously and investigate promptly.
